Wheeler Road Storm Water Outlet Project

Our Road Department worked diligently over the last several weeks (June-July) to implement a solution designed to improve a drainage issue on Wheeler Rd. This project is intended to funnel excess water to King ditch (county ditch). The Township obtained an easement for this work and received a $9,000 grant through the county stormwater department to cover all materials. For those interested in details, our Road department dug out the old 8-inch clay field tile which was broken in several places and replaced it with 1500 ft. of 12-inch oval wall pipe. Congratulations to our Road Department on another successful project!
